We are waiting to hear from Isaac's corporate office on the okay for vacation time. Meanwhile, I am getting very excited to go back home for a week with our family. I have not been home to Santa Cruz in almost 2 years. I am so excited. I know many family members (on both sides) have not even met our little Jonah, and you would not believe how much Mo has grown! We are planning to drive out March 9Th. We will be brave and make a straight drive to Sacramento and stay with Isaac's Grammy over night. Then we will leave from there and journey on to the bay area. We will only be in town for a week so we decided to let people know we were planning the trip. So, if you wanted to see us you could. Unfortunately due to Jonah's medical needs we will not be traveling house to house. We miss everyone and hope we can see you either in Watsonville or Boulder Creek.

Picasso resides in our house!

"My, my", Those are the words that I had to push out of my mouth, After giving Jonah a 20 minute treatment and walking out to the kitchen to see my little Picasso painting our refrigerator orange. Now I know what your thinking but I did plan this out. Let me explain... Morgan paints a lot (usually on paper) and today was no exception. I was even locking her in to Jonah's high chair so that she would not roam the house with messy hands. So I give her some paint a paint brush and a piece of paper, put the tray on the high chair and go to tend to Jonah. I come back to check on her and she has paint everywhere! she is still fully intact in the highchair she has just thrushd her body to navigate the highchair to the front of the fridge. "my, my" Those are the words that I had to push out of my mouth!

cousins

We had so much fun tonight. We went over to Meghan & Rob's and to our surprise aunt Cathy was up visiting from Hurricane, UT. I was able to visit with her and Meghan while Isaac discussed RC car stuff / Jack Ass movies with rob and the kids played together. It was fun watching all 3 kids (mo, Jo and Jameson) play and interact. They are all at different levels of development but seem to have a common interest... each other. Jonah sat and observed Jameson. Jameson was following Morgan and Morgan was just everywhere like a two year old would be. We are so lucky to have a little piece of family here in Utah. I was sharing with Meg how important it is to me, for my children to have and know their family. It's so nice that the Johnston's, the Crovos and the Andrews all have children in the same bracket of time. Our children are very lucky!

It's been a year!
I can't believe a year has already passed. Last year Jonah was a very sick little boy. Though he is still sick it's nothing like the loss we were feeling last January. It is a miracle that Jonah is with us today. I am reminded often that Jonah must have some special work to accomplish here on earth. He is truly an angel. Our angel!
Today Jonah is suffering with gross development delays, due to the long hospitalizations that have occured throughout 2008. It will be a long road with many different therapists involved but we welcome them with open arms. Jonah is a fighter! We have great hope that 2009 will be a better year. Isaac and I wanted to thank all of of you who have prayed for our family. We have truly been touched.
